One too many bottles

Anna’s walking now, but it looks like she needs to lay off the bottle.

Anna 1 – Cake 0

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

Anna’s first birthday party had a bunch of family, food on the barbecue, and lots of playing in the back yard. However, we’ll just skip to the cake part, which was Anna’s favorite.

Note from mom: The dress was adorable, though you can’t see much of it in these photos. There was also a cute hat, but Anna refused to wear it. And the cake was the wrong color, we had ordered pink.

Ooh, this is pretty good stuff. Why have you been holding out on me all year?

Anna wins, cake is demolished.

Would you like some?

Mom and Simon get to share some cake.

Anna gets Peas

Friday, December 12th, 2008

Anna got to try her first pea-mush. Here they go in:

And they come out. In spite of the way it looks she’s less messy than Simon was.

Simon’s now had much more practice eating, and he’s getting better at it all the time.

This is his first milkshake, and the sugar rush that comes with it.

A Spider and a Ladybug

Friday, October 31st, 2008

We decided to dress up as a spider and a ladybug for Halloween. Here’s the scary spider costume.

The ladybug costume isn’t quite as scary.

And here’s the ladybug in her natural habitat.

We figured out how to get the candy. Just go up to a door, ring the doorbell (repeatedly) and say “treet treet”

We’ve been busy

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

Between the colic and the sick kids, we’ve been pretty busy lately. Luckily, all of that is going away, and things are getting back to normal. Here’s a few recent shots of what we’ve been up to.

The girls come home from the hospital

Monday, July 7th, 2008

The people at the hospital couldn’t think of any more reasons to hold on to us, so they let us out. Just in time, I’m not sure if we could have taken any more of that food.
